RCS Method has been written with reference only to guidelines specified in ASTM E898-00, and E319-03. Portions of NIST Handbook 44-04 have also been consulted for applicable requirements. NBS Circular 547 & OIML R-111 Tolerances observed. Method covers the determination of characteristics of top-loading, direct reading laboratory scales and balances.
