Electronic Simulation Calibrations

We are frequently asked to verify new units that customers have purchased from suppliers who have not obtained ANSI/ISO/IEC 17025-05(E) Accreditation.  Typical procedure is to simulate by electronic input of a designated signal and adjusting the unit to indicate the value received, at times we may back this up with a direct comparison, actually checking the entire set-up thermocouple, and its indicator as a whole unit.

• Digital Temperature Indicators
  RCS Method has been written with reference to ASTM E220-07a, Thermocouples by direct comparison and portions of ECA-10/11 (00) using Omega Type "J, K, T" data cables.

• Digital RPM Indicators
  RCS Method has been written with reference to ASTM F2046-11, Specification for Tachometers, and portions of ECA-10/11 (00) Digital transfer of data, temperature indicators.

The unit is then certified to specifications outlined in the appropriate ASTM method, within full compliance with ANSI/ISO/IEC 17025-05(E), and utilizing NIST traceable standards and equipment. Each unit receives a "Certificate of Verification" with "As Found" and "As Left" data and is ANSI/ISO/IEC 17025-2005(E) compliant. 
A laminated identification sticker is placed on each die to provide the customer with required calibration information. Serial number, Type, calibration date and the calibration due date ( if requested ).
